Who we are...
Highway 20 Church of Christ is a Bible believing church that seeks to help people begin and sustain a real relationship with Jesus Christ. We are not a perfect church, but we seek to honor the Lord Jesus as His disciples by obeying all that He has commanded (Ma. 28:19-20). Our worship service is focused around the principles and pattern of the New Testament church in devoting ourselves to the apostles teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer (Acts 2:42).
We are a non-denominational Church of Christ that seeks to be pleasing to Jesus Christ in all areas of the Christian walk. We believe the Bible is the ultimate authority of God (2 Tim. 3:16; Heb. 1:1-2; 2 Pet. 1:20-21) and that everything pertaining to life and godliness (2 Pet. 1:3) is contained in God's Word. We believe that salvation is by the grace of God in Christ Jesus (Eph. 2:8-9), through faith, which involves belief, confession and repentance (Mk. 16:16; Eph. 2:8; Ac. 2:38; Romans 10:9-10; 17), and in baptism (Col. 2:12-13; Ro. 6:1-4). We believe that one must obey the Biblical plan of salvation in order for fellowship with the Heavenly Father and with His church to exist. We pray and exhort you, if you have not obeyed God's Word concerning salvation, that you would do so. We would love to talk with you about God's grace through Christ Jesus.
